Where to watch or listen to the presidential election in Ottawa

Here’s a list of places to watch the U.S. election Tuesday: ** Mother McGintys - 5 p.m. ** Democrats Abroad Canada in the National Capital Region is planning the biggest USA Election Viewing party in the area.

Election night is Tuesday, November 8.

The election results will be on the big screen all day and all night.  Our official viewing party starts at 5 PM and goes until the speeches are done. ** The Red Lion Pub - 8 p.m. ** The Canadian International Council invites you to the P@P US Election Viewing Party. With only three days remaining a 3% margin of error is what separates the candidates. Swing states Florida and Ohio are both up for grabs. Where will you be on this historic evening?

Join us at the Red Lion Pub on November 8th, as we await the election results, featuring a screening of live news coverage and commentary from mulitple sources. This will also be your chance to win free prizes and drinks while showcasing your trivia knowledge of the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election Campaign.

Cover is $5 for CIC members and $10 for non-members. As always, cover inlcudes a pint of craft beer or a glass of wine. Come with friends or come alone - together we will witness the final episode to an incredibly eventful presidential race. ** Lieutenant’s pump - 7 p.m. ** The suspense is unbelievable! As the candidates poll closer and closer, the only certainty is that it will be an election without precedent! Join fellow Conservatives in Ottawa Centre and watch the results of the Presidential Election from our neighbours to the south. Who will be victorious and become President in 2017? Will it be Donald Trump? Will it be Hillary Clinton? Come find out with us on Tuesday night!
