What's on for International Women's Week in Ottawa

International Women’s Day is a time to celebrate the achievements of women in our city and around the globe. While it formally falls on March 8, 2019, typically it is observed throughout the whole week.

Here are eight great events to check out during this International Women’s Week in Ottawa.

Women leadership

There will be not one, but two, women’s leadership summits in Ottawa.

Networking

Join Mayor Jim Watson for a special networking and breakfast reception on March 8 at City Hall. Watson will be joined by Coun. Theresa Kavanagh, liaison for women and gender equity, for the launch of the City of Ottawa women and gender equity strategy. More info…
