What happened to the Ottawa movie listings?

** We’ve had a few emails asking us what happened to OttawaStart’s movie listings. Here’s the story:

Our listings were provided by a third party called FilmCan, via a syndicated feed.   They were a local company that provided the complete local theatre listings for a yearly subscription fee.

FilmCan was bought out early this fall by

 Tribute Publishing Inc.
](http://www.tribute.ca/)
On October 19th, Tribute assumed control of the FilmCan web sites, and discontinued our syndicated service.

So far, we haven't been able to find a similar subscription service that provides accurate listings at a reasonable subscription price -- so until we do the movie listings are offline.
