WEDNESDAY: House of Targ's super 5th anniversary bash (plus a new beer)

House of Targ marks their 5th on Wednesday.

House of Targ marks five years of being Ottawa’s pinball and perogie pinnacle with a “super over-the-top” party this Wednesday.

Drop by for live music with Ottawa group F8-BIT, who’ll perform jazz interpretations of time-honoured soundtracks from video games like Punchout, Super Mario World and Legend of Zelda. There will be games aplenty, from the house special (pinball) to classic arcade games. Regulars to the House of Targ can expect at least five new games at this party. All ages are welcome, according to their website.

Of course, there will be plenty to eat and drunk as well. The special of the day is what’s promised to be a “new twist” on the old favourite of perogies. Plus, House of Targ has partnered with Big Rig Brewery to bring to the party their very own brew.
