Transit Driver Appreciation Day is Friday, March 18

_ (press release) _ They drive you to appointments, work, school and social gatherings, and provide a warm shelter during emergencies. They’re on the road 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and often drive in very complex traffic and weather conditions to get you where you need to be. They transport 340,000 customers across the nation’s capital each day – they’re OC Transpo operators and they’re here for you.

 

This Friday, March 18, we invite you to do two easy things in honour of Transit Driver Appreciation Day: say a special thanks to your OC Transpo operator for all they do, and share your positive experiences. ** ** Perhaps your bus, Para Transpo or O-Train operator gave you a warm greeting at the end of a long day, or transported you home safely on a stormy night. Here’s how you can let them know you care:
