Today in weird Ottawa jobs: TikTok video creator

If you love the short-form video app TikTok and enjoy working from home, have we found the job for you!

A New York-based organization recently posted to Indeed seeking an Ottawa-based “TikTok video creator”. You can see an archive of the job listing here.

According to the listing, qualifications include video editing skills, one year of experience in creating TikTik videos, and “We would prefer if you also had an understanding of influencer marekting [sic].”

The job is part-time, remote and on a contract. It pays between $12 and $23 an hour, the low end of that scale falling short of Ontario’s minimum wage by $2.25.
