Temporary lane reductions begin Monday on Highway 417 at Pinecrest

Highway 417 eastbound will experience lane reductions between Pinecrest Road and Woodroffe Avenue on Monday, April 13 between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Motorists should also anticipate periodic lane reductions and ramp closures in the area beginning April 13. The majority of the lane reductions and ramp closures will occur at night.

The lane reductions are necessary to allow workers to begin preliminary work on improvements to the Pinecrest Road interchange and to eastbound transit operations on the highway. When work is complete in fall 2015, there will be a continuous auxiliary lane between the two on-ramps at Pinecrest Road. This will be completed by connecting the northeast on-ramp to the existing auxiliary lane and shifting the southeast on-ramp to the south.
