Nominations are being accepted until August 30 th 2015 and can be entered on the TEDxKanata website. Cycling Sub-Committee has organized a public open house. This sub-committee is focused on the cycling safety and accessibility needs within Kanata North of three specific user groups: Recreational Cyclists; _ _ Families; Commuter Cyclists. Their primary goal was to understand how accessible established neighbourhoods in Kanata North are for cyclists by road & paths: between neighborhoods; to get to Kanata North amenities such as shopping, recreation, libraries, etc; to commute back and forth to work; for recreational enjoyment. ...

Community Meeting with OC Transpo concerning Kanata North routes 60, 64, 68

Councillor Marianne Wilkinson has organized a meeting for users of the 60, 64 and 68 routes to discuss their issues with the service they are receiving since changes were introduced at the end of December. Pat Scrimgeour, OC Transpo Assistant General Manager of Customer Systems & Planning, and Troy Charter, Assistant General Manager of Transit Operations, will present information on the function of these revised routes, will respond to concerns submitted by residents regarding the impact of the service changes and answer resident questions. ...
