17 July 2016 / #byward market #police Six injured after two stabbings in ByWard Market overnight_ (press release) _ (Ottawa)-The Ottawa Police Service responded to two separate stabbing incidents which occurred in the ByWard market overnight and we are looking for the public’s assistance.The first occurred at 10pm at Waller and Rideau Street. 1 male victim was stabbed and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. An unidentified suspect, described as a white male in his mid-20’s fled the scene.The second incident occurred at 1:42am on William Street between York and George. 5 male victims were injured, 4 of them stabbed. All victims have since been treated. Their injuries are non-life threatening. All 3 suspects are now in custody.
