Seen on YouTube: The Depose of Bolskivoi Hovhannes

This afternoon on CBC’s All In A Day , they were talking about Will Inrig, a Cantebury High School student and animator. His animated short, ** ** The Depose of Bolskivoi Hovhannes, is going to be shown at the Ottawa International Animation Festival later this month, alongside over a hundred films from around the world.

The remarkable short film is about a shepherd and his mutinous sheep. It was shot frame-by-frame with a still camera and then putting the photos together in sequence to create the movement in the film. Best of all, you can watch it here via YouTube:
