Here’s an interesting approach to a jobs/careers website: hlpwntd.com . The web site says it “is a

community of users

who

spot help wanted signs

around the world to help others

find jobs.

" It features a listing of signs that web site visitors have seen in store windows – and gives job hunters a way to seek out jobs that probably wouldn’t be advertised in the newspaper or online.

For example, August 4: “On Sparks Street: L’Ange Cafe, The Marvellous Mustard Shop and Tim Hortons all have now hiring signs in the window.”

Or from July 11: “Shawarma King at 395 Bank (near Staples) has a sign that says Drivers Wanted.”
