24 August 2006 / #media Rita Celli to host CBC Radio's Ontario TodayRita Celli is returning to radio, becoming the [ host of CBC Radio’sOntario Today ](http://www.cbc.ca/ontariotoday/rita.html) in September. She’s anchored CBC’s local supper hour news program since 2001, but she began her career on CBC radio.I will enjoy hearing Rita back again on 91.5 again. She is a great interviewer, with a real knack to get people to relax and open up on the air. She also has a great laugh. The constraints of being a television anchor never really allowed her to show off these two talents.Celli takes overOntario Todayfrom Alan Neal, who’s moving to CBC’sBandwidthandFuseprograms. No word yet on the new host forOttawa’s News at Six, but my money is on Lucy van Oldenbarneveld. Two reasons:She’s been anchoring CBC newscasts, both locally and on CBC Newsword, and looks comfy in the chair.Despite spending a few years as “co-host” and “official fill-in host” of Ottawa Morning, she was recently passed over for the main host gig.Who do you think should anchor the show?
