It’s a very busy weekend for Ottawa’s art & crafts scene; here are some events you don’t want to miss: ** Makers Pop-Up Bazaar (Ottawa, 17 October, day) ** Marketplace of local artisanal food & drink, handmade goods, and interactive workshops - featuring both emerging and established makers. The event will be held at Maker Space North, 250 City Centre from 10 am to 5 pm. Admission $5. For more information, visit the event website . ** Inky Imaginings (Ottawa, 17 October, day) ** If you like to colour and doodle, this colouring/book signing event at the Barrhaven Indigo, featuring the Doodle Art of Sheila Cain-Sample is a must!  Sheila’s first book is filled with 22 parchment pages (according to Sheila, parchment is an extremely lovely paper to play on with pencil and pen) printed with all of her. Indigo, 125 Riocan Avenue (off Strandherd) in Barrhaven from 11 am to 3 pm. For more information, check out Sheila’s blog . ** Art in Fashion 613 (Ottawa, 17 October, evening) ** AIF613 combines a fashion show with a night market in a party atmosphere. Visitors will have the opportunity to immediately purchase anything that catches their fancy on the runway. Featuring 9 local designers, in addition to 35 select vendors/artists, burlesque entertainment, wine bar and (complimentary) catering, live music. Doors open at 6 p.m., fashion show starts at 7 p.m. Library and Archives Canada, 395 Wellington St. Admission: $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Free parking. For more information, visit the event web site . ** 613flea (October 17, day) ** 613flea is a not-for-profit marketplace where Ottawa’s creative community along with entrepreneurs and small businesses can showcase their products and creations to shoppers.  Artisans, artists, designers, entertainers and makers come together with antiques dealers, independent boutiques, food merchants and vintage clothing vendors to create an amazing market that is free to visit! The event will feature paintings as well as metal and wood sculptures. Free admission.
