RCMP wraps up three amigos operations, puts focus on Canada Day

_ (press release) _ The Royal Canadian Mounted Police and its security partners wish to thank the public for their patience and cooperation as they ensured the safety and security of international guests and Canadians during the North American Leaders’ Summit.

Thanks to the close collaboration with our municipal, provincial, and federal partners, as well as the extensive cooperation of the general public, this large scale event took place in a safe and peaceful manner.

We are pleased to report that there were no arrests or major incidents related to NALS.

All security measures put in place for the Summit will be lifted and we are now focussing on our plans for Canada Day celebrations in the National Capital Region.
