Rant of the Day: Remembrance Day ceremony

If you go to the ceremony, here’s what you discover. You’ll discover it is pretty much impossible to see anything. Depending on where you end up, you’ll discover that it’s pretty much impossible to hear anything. And you may find yourself wondering if there’s not a more profound, meaningful and heartfelt way to commemorate the sacrifice of our fighting men and women than to have a seemingly endless parade of diplomats and VIPs drop off wreaths before fleeing to their idling vehicles.
