26 October 2015 / #boil water advisory #Greely Precautionary Boil Water Advisory for Shadow Ridge communal well water users in Greely now liftedOttawa Public Health (OPH) has lifted the precautionary boil water advisory affecting approximately 200 users of the Shadow Ridge communal well water system in Greely. Water sample results indicate the water is safe for human consumption and other household purposes.The advisory was issued due to a break in the primary waterline resulting in a complete depressurisation of the communal well system. Once pressure was restored, water samples had to be taken to ensure the safety of the water supply.Residents are advised to run the cold water tap for one minute upon first use.
