Plenty of authors in fall lineup for Ottawa Public Library

_ (press release) _ ** Ottawa – ** The Ottawa Public Library (OPL) will be hosting several authors this fall as part of its Author Visits programming:

 

Mark Leslie, paranormal raconteur extraordinaire and author of _ Creepy Capital: Ghost Stories of Ottawa and the National Capital Region _ , will be at the Rideau branch of the OPL (377 Rideau) on ** Saturday, September 10, at 1 p.m. ** Discover the first-person accounts of ghostly happenings at landmarks throughout the Ottawa region. Registration is recommended. _ So you want to write a romance novel _ ? Come out and meet several of Ottawa’s most successful romance authors: Lucy D. Briand, Opal Carew, Louise Clark, Lucy Farago, Maureen Fisher, Jen Gilroy, Julie Evelyn Joyce, and Jennifer Carole Lewis! Learn more about the industry, get tips on how to get started on your first manuscript, and find out about local resources you can use! This event is organized in partnership with the Ottawa Romance Writers’ Association and will take place at the ** Nepean Centrepointe branch of the OPL, in The Chamber, on Sunday, September 25, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. ** Registration is recommended.

 

Author Nadia Bozak will discuss her latest book, _ Thirteen Shells _ , at the Sunnyside branch of the Ottawa Public Library on ** Thursday, October 13, at 7 p.m ** . Registration is recommended.

 

The Haitian author of _ Diogène le marron _ , Charlot Lucien, will be at Orléans branch on ** Saturday, October 15, from  2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m ** ., for a recital of satirical tales.
