THRUST – Funk/Fusion/Hip Hop (Monthly – No Cover!)

](http://ottawastart.com/events/thrust-funkfusionhip-hop-monthly-no-cover-2016-11-09/) Thrust is a one-of-a kind power trio and unlike anything you will find in Ottawa or the surrounding area. Always looking to stand out, the boys in Thrust are working to bring back the ’70s-influenced funk and soul sound, fused with the more modern electronica and hip-hop movement of today’s times and a heavy dose of improvisation. With their unique instrumentation, there are no limits to where the music will take you, but it will be sure to leave you wanting more.

Every second Wednesday of the month at Bar Robo!

Equivocation

is a play about telling the truth in difficult times. Indeed, it poses this intriguing question: What if the government commissioned William Shakespeare to write the definitive history of a national crisis, the Gunpowder Plot, in one of his plays?
