Ottawa's new draft official plan is out

The City of Ottawa has put its new draft official plan up for public input.

Since 2003, a few years after the city we know today was created in amalgamation, Ottawa has had the same official plan. Since early 2019, the city has been working on creating a new plan from the ground up.

You can check out the full plan, or see one-pagers describing how the draft plan addresses key topics, on engage.ottawa.ca. City planners are seeking the public’s feedback via surveys posted alongside the one-pagers. These surveys are open until Feb. 17, 2021.
