Ottawa beats Calgary to win 104th Grey Cup

unnamed-1

The Ottawa REDBLACKS beat the Calgary Stampeders Sunday night, 39-33, to become the 104th Grey Cup champions.

It was the first Grey Cup win for the team, which started in 2014. The last time an Ottawa team won the Grey Cup was 1976 with the Ottawa Rough Riders, at the same stadium.

Mayor Jim Watson tweeted a parade will be held in honour of the REDBLACKS on Tuesday at 12 p.m. on the Pretoria Bridge.
