Ottawa-based Classroom Champions is part of new Prezi Causes campaign

Prezi Causes

Today, Prezi launched its first North American Prezi Causes campaign, which will raise awareness for Classroom Champions, an Ottawa-based nonprofit organization founded by U.S. Olympic gold medal winner Steve Mesler. Classroom Champions motivates students to recognize their potential by creating mentor relationships between Olympic and Paralympic athletes (such as U.S. figure skaters Meryl Davis and Charlie White) and students in over 60 high-need schools around the U.S. and Canada.

Prezi’s similar effort in the UK, which featured The Ocean Cleanup , drove a significant increase in both web traffic and donations for the charity. Based on the results from that effort, Prezi expects awareness for, and interest in, Classroom Champions to increase remarkably.
