Victim in city's tenth homicide identified

_ ** Update: Police have identified the victim as Jeremy Mack, 36, of Ottawa. ** _ _ (press release) _ (Ottawa) –The Ottawa Police Service Major Crime Unit confirms a homicide investigation in the 1-100 block of Winthrop Private.

On Saturday, July 23

, 2016 at 4:48 pm, officers attended the Winthrop Private address for a call for service indicating male suffering serious injuries.   The injured male, age 36, was transported to hospital with serious to life-threatening injuries in relation to a stabbing.  He later succumbed to his injuries at hospital.

One male was arrested on scene.
