2 January 2015 / #crime #police New Year’s Eve drug arrest and chargesThe Ottawa Police Service wants to acknowledge good proactive work from Central NHO officers on New Year’s Eve where a good amount of drugs were seized, a black replica handgun was seized and three persons were arrested and charged.On December 31st, at approximately 9:45pm, officers conducted a traffic stop within a parking lot of the 500 block of Donald Street, with three occupants inside the vehicle, two men and one woman. They were all actively engaged in narcotics consumption.Seized items from the arrest with a street value of $4961.00: * 51 tabs of MDMA * 12.7 grams of methamphetamine * 5 grams of cocaine * 153.9 grams of marihuana * 31.6 grams of psilocybin (mushrooms) D’Artagnan BEAN, 20 year old, François NICKERSON, 19 year old, and Rebecca SIMPKINS, 18 year old, faces charges of; * Possess Schedule I substance for trafficking (Cocaine) * Possess Schedule I substance for trafficking (MDMA) * Possess Schedule I substance for trafficking (Methamphetamine) * Possess Schedule III substance for trafficking (Psilocybin (mushroom)) * Possess Schedule II substance cannabis (marihuana) for trafficking / less that 3kg * Possess Schedule II substance not in excess amount (Marihuana) * Possess Schedule II substance not in excess amount (Marihuana butter) * Unlawfully possess schedule I substance (methamphetamine) * Unlawfully possess schedule I substance (cocaine (mixed with cannabis mariahana)) They will appear for their First appearance in court on Wednesday February 4th, 2015
