New technology newspaper to launch next week

Tony Patterson, who was founding editor of Silicon Valley NORTH, has put together a new team, new publication and new website to deliver news and information about the local tech community. Twenty thousand copies of the inaugural edition of national capital SCAN will be circulating in high tech workplace next week.

The SCAN website will employ a range of media, including blogs and RSS feeds, to reveal the high tech community to itself as well as monitor the world for items of interest.

The web site isn’t online yet – but will be soon at nationalcapitalscan.ca
