6 December 2015 / #cbc #cfra MORE TALK, LESS ROCK: Ottawa Fall 2015 radio ratingsThe numbers are in for the fall radio ratings, and two talk radio stations are at the top of the list, probably thanks to the federal election happening during the ratings period.The ratings were conducted by Numeris between September 7 and November 1, 2015, and include all English radio listeners ages 12 and older. You can access the full report here (PDF).Share = “the estimated total hours tuned to that station expressed as a percentage of total hours tuned to all radio."Some numbers that stand out:Since last fall, Country 101.1 has dropped from #4 to #9. That’s in part due to newcomer New Country 94 – although their share is actually lower than predecessor Bob FM’s fall numbers last year.Hot, Jump and Kiss all had slight drops in share since last fall; CHEZ and Boom are both upCBC Radio 1 had the biggest increase in share, up by 4.1 percentage points.(Fall 2014 ratings are here.)We’ve graphed some of the data, sorted by share.
