Here are some ideas for some great family activities in Ottawa.Maple syrup: What a wonderful coincidence that March Break falls right at the height of maple syrup season. Here’s a list of local sugarbushes near Ottawa, with many offering special programming on the weekends and during the March Break.Winter activities: Winter’s not over yet! Although the Rideau Canal is closed for the season, there’s still plenty of other outdoor skating rinks open, including at City Hall and Lansdowne Park, just to name a few. Here’s a list of rinks. Or maybe try skiing or snowshoeing?Museums: Check out the Canadian Museum of Science and Technology near St. Laurent Boulevard. The Museum of Nature is also a favourite. But they’re just two of dozens of national and local museums in and around our city.
