Man stabbed downtown expected to survive

** _ Update: 1310 NEWS reports the victim is expected to survive. _ ** (Ottawa)-Tonight, at 10:30 P.M., the Ottawa Police Service responded to a call of a male who was stabbed in the area of King Edward Avenue and Sussex Drive.

The victim was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
