Using local products, we see Bee bang out a simple and delicious local dish in her segment Nom Essentials.“Our goal is to feature up and coming farmers and artisnal producers, profile their food philosophy and inspire busy students and families that cooking locally is easy, simple, affordable and fun”, explains Bee, whose show will include Ottawa businesses such as Jambican Farm, a JamaicanCanadian wild foods and heritage-focused famer, Dominion City Brewery, Canada’s first fully crowdsourced craft brewery, and Kathy Smart, North America’s Gluten Free Expert.Filmed in Ottawa, Ontario at a variety of locations (such as Two Six {Ate}, back lots of businesses and artisan producer workshops) episodes run 20-30min in length. The professionals on the show represent their passion for their heritage and favourite foods, with Bee bringing a relaxed, optimistic and in-depth approach to interviewing.Check out Om Nom Ottawa’s official music video here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSDILe5hehk“Very funny with a different twist in a world where cooking shows might be growing stale.” - Nick Bachusky, Lunch Out Loud Ottawa
