29 November 2020 / #news #transit Lincoln Fields Transitway Station to switch to new platform(Via OC Transpo)On Sunday, December 6, local bus service at Lincoln Fields Station will be adjusted to use a new local bus platform. Bus stops on the Transitway platform will not be affected.The new bus platform makes room for the construction of the Stage 2 O‑Train Station.All existing local routes will continue to serve Lincoln Fields at the new platform, which is located east of the existing Transitway platform. At the station, signage and wayfinding will help you find your boarding location. OC Transpo staff will also be onsite and available to help. You can also use the Travel Planner. Details on affected stops can be found at OC Transpo alerts.Connections between the newly located local platform, Transitway platform, and surrounding neighbourhood will be maintained, including the pedestrian overpass to Carling Avenue. Pedestrian access to the east of the station on Carling Avenue at the traffic signal will be closed.Shelters, benches, and bike racks will continue to be available at the station or on the new platform. Due to construction, the existing passenger pick-up/drop off zone will be removed.
