leMeow Debuts Sultry Sound and Image in Video for Evening Blues

New indie group, leMeow , has released their debut music video , revealing a sultry sound and image reminiscent of jazz greats like Peggy Lee and Dinah Washington. Distinctly vintage in style, the video successfully captures the essence of Evening Blues, the band’s first single off of their self-titled EP (available on iTunes).

Produced by Mock Trial Productions, the video is rich with visually stimulating content, depicting a room full of elegantly dressed party-goers sipping on martinis and smoking stogies while being entertained by the stylish members of leMeow.

Frontwoman, Gin Bourgeois, and multi-instrumentalist, James Rooke, are the masterminds behind this project. With Eric Eggleston of Johnny Hall Productions working the board for their debut recordings, the duo successfully married the classic sounds of soul and jazz with the modern edge and appeal of today’s pop trends. DJ Noah of LiVE 88.5 FM said, “If you like Amy Winehouse, Fitz and the Tantrums, and Adele, you’ll dig leMeow!"

The video for Evening Blues can be viewed on the band’s YouTube page. For more information, please direct all inquiries to lemeowmusic [at] gmail [dot] com.
