Lane reduction on Eagleson Road at Emerald Meadows Drive starting Friday

Starting Friday March 4, traffic pattern changes will be in effect on Eagleson Road at Emerald Meadows Drive for approximately ten days to accommodate a culvert replacement located just south of Emerald Meadows.

Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times during construction. Southbound traffic on Eagleson Road will be shifted to the northbound side of the road. The northbound left- and right-turn lanes will be reduced, but no northbound lane closure is expected.

The work is expected to be complete by March 15.

Transit service on Eagleson Road will run as usual. Cyclists should consider alternate routes as the lane adjustments will apply to all vehicles including bicycles.

Residents are encouraged to be flexible with commuting times, stagger work hours or use alternative means for travel. The City of Ottawa has tools on ottawa.ca to help motorists and transit users plan their routes and manage their commute.
