Job for a day: City needs workers for Rideau-Rockcliffe by-election

Election workers can get paid up to $300 for the day.

The City of Ottawa Elections Office is recruiting election workers for the 2019 Rideau-Rockcliffe By-election for Advance Voting Day on Friday, April 5 and Voting Day on Monday, April 15.

The City is looking for individuals who understand the electoral process, learn quickly and possess good interpersonal skills. Interested individuals can apply online at ottawa.ca/vote until Friday, February 22. You can also receive an application by contacting the Elections Office by phone at 613-580-2660 or by email at elections-jobs@ottawa.ca.

Priority will be given to applicants who are bilingual in French and English. Applicants who are proficient in other languages are also considered an asset and should indicate which language(s) they speak on the application form.
