Indigenous Walking Tour sets the path for 2015 City Hall Summer Activities

The 2015 summer activities at City Hall will begin on Thursday, June 18 at noon with a special tour that highlights the Indigenous People’s experiences in Ottawa – through its art, history and landscape. It’s called the Indigenous Walking Tour, led by Métis Arts Activator Jaime Koebel.

The free one-hour tour, starting at noon, will begin at City Hall’s Marion Dewar Plaza (110 Laurier Avenue West) and will take participants around the downtown area – showing Ottawa from an Indigenous People’s perspective.

The 2015 season of the City Hall Summer Activities will be in full force in July and August, with both noon-hour and evening programs that will keep you in shape, entertained, and get you moving with the rhythm.

Some of the activities to look forward to include:

 *
Salsa Babies and Picnic

 *
Hatha Yoga – Rama Lotus Yoga Centre

 *
Tai Chi – Taoist® Tai Chi

 *
Salsa @ City Hall

 *
Lunchtime Volleyball
