Iceberg named one of Canada's fastest growing companies

Iceberg , a software and service provider for Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), has been named one of Canada’s fastest growing companies by PROFIT magazine.

Iceberg placed 59th overall in a list of 500 companies on the PROFIT 500 , and had revenue growth of over 1,100% in the last five years.  The Ottawa-based company works with North America’s largest financial institutions, enterprises and government organizations to deliver effective Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) solutions.

“Our growth is due to our team and their commitment to making a difference for our customers,” says Ken McPherson, Iceberg’s CEO. “There is a lot of opportunity in the GRC market because organizations are looking to take a more strategic and proactive approach when it comes to IT and operational risk management. These are mission-critical programs for companies, and they want to work with a partner they can trust to deploy a successful solution.”

A Hundred Answers and Iceberg were ranked 1-2 for companies in the Ottawa area on this year’s list.  Both are based in the Kanata North, a hotbed of innovative businesses in Canada’s capital.

Iceberg was founded in 2006 and now has over 20 GRC specialists on staff. The company provides a full lifecycle of GRC services through its Centre of Excellence, including management consulting, implementation, user adoption and support.
