Hot 89.9's Jeff Mauler is a Top 10 finalist in Regis & Kelly co-host search

Congrats to Hot 89.9 ’s Jeff Mauler, who’s one of ten finalists to co-host an episode or Regis & Kelly. He’s the only Canadian in the top 10 and is asking for you to vote with him. I’ve met Mauler a few times before and he’d be a great ambassador for our city. Here’s an excerpt from a press release :

  The Live with Regis and Kelly “Men of Radio Co-Host for a Day Search”, which launched in December, is looking for the best-of-the-best male radio announcers in Canada and the U.S. to stand in for Regis Philbin while he is on vacation, and co-host a show with Kelly Ripa during the week of January 24, 2011.

  Making it into the Top 10 is such an unbelievable accomplishment for Jeff who says “I just want to do my city and country proud on the world stage. It is an amazing honour to have gotten this far. I'm speechless!”

  , and ends on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at 6:00pm ET. The five men within the Top 10 that garner the most votes over the next week will each win the opportunity to co-host live for one day with Kelly during the week of January 24th.
