Free transportation to Lansdowne for FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015

Ottawa soccer fans can expect an exciting few weeks as the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™ gets underway this weekend. For all nine scheduled matches in Ottawa, event-goers have a variety of free transportation options to get to and from Lansdowne Stadium.

Your FIFA game-day tickets entitle you to:

 *
Free OC Transpo and STO service

 *
Free Park & Shuttle service from locations across the city

 *
Free, secure bike parking at Lansdowne

The Park & Shuttle service offers reliable and convenient transportation from OC Transpo and STO Park & Ride lots, as well as the EY Centre (4899 Uplands Drive) and City Hall (110 Laurier Avenue West). Event-goers can drive to any Park & Shuttle lot to take a short, free shuttle ride to and from Lansdowne Stadium.

At the City Hall lot, parking entry tickets will be validated for event ticket holders starting two hours prior to game time. Take a parking entry ticket on entry and present it along with your event ticket to one of the Park & Shuttle attendants who will be on site to assist motorists. The shuttle pickup location will be on Lisgar Street near Cartier Street. Please note that parking at City Hall will only be validated starting two hours prior to game start time until 11 p.m. Spectators that park outside of this designated time period will be responsible for the cost of parking.

Your game-day ticket also gives you free access to quick, easy and efficient transit service three hours before and three hours after games, from June 7 to June 27. Transit fare is included in the ticket price – just show your printed event ticket to the operator when you board the bus, and don’t forget to keep your ticket for your ride home.

Transit services include:

 *
Free OC Transpo and STO service, including enhanced service on Bank Street

 *
Free parking and direct transit service from OC Transpo and STO Park & Ride lots in Ottawa and Gatineau

 *
Free O-Train and Para Transpo service (Para Transpo customers are asked to book their trips through the normal process)

Further information on routes and scheduling is available by visiting octranspo.com or by calling OC Transpo Information at 613-741-4390 .

For cyclists, secure bike parking will be available at the skating court, east of Aberdeen Pavilion. A multi-use pathway connects this area directly to the National Capital Commission (NCC) path along the Queen Elizabeth Driveway. Visit ottawa.ca for a map of comfortable cycling routes.

However you choose to get there, consider arriving early and staying after the game to enjoy activities at Lansdowne and in the Glebe.
