Flags at half-mast in memory of former Councillor Al Loney

The flags at Ben Franklin Place will be lowered to half-mast from sunrise to sunset on Monday, October 19, the day of the memorial service for the late Al Loney.

Mr. Loney served residents of the City of Nepean and the City of Ottawa as an elected official for the Nepean City Council from 1973 to 1994 and the Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton from 1994 to 2000.

Mr. Loney passed away after a lengthy illness on Thursday, October 8, 2015.
