13 October 2015 / #OPL #Ottawa Public Library Elevator at Rosemount branch to be replacedThe elevator at the Rosemount branch of the Ottawa Public Library will be out-of-service starting October 20 until late-December. The elevator is being replaced as part of the City of Ottawa’s building assets lifecycle renewal and replacement program. In order to better serve customers, a self-checkout station has been temporarily installed on the lower level, and holds have been moved there as well. Employees will be happy to retrieve Library material for customers who cannot use the stairs to access the upper level, and offer any other assistance within their means.
