Cassandra, a member of the collective, explains a bit more:"Our collective ... is under the umbrella of [ Ottawa Urban Arts ](http://www.ottawaurbanarts.com/) . The project was funded by crime prevention Ottawa as part of a youth engagement program called 'Paint it up!'. We partnered with the Centretown Community Centre youth to create the design and paint the background. The main idea was to represent different cultures in Centretown through their distinct art styles."** See also: ** Ottawa Art GuideIf you liked this post, please consider subscribing to our blog via email, Twitter, Facebook or RSS.
