 *
Name the new skateboard park at the McNabb Community Centre at 435 Bronson Avenue the “Charlie Bowins Skateboard Park”

** Ken Ross Park – (Ward 3 – Barrhaven) ** In recognition of Ken Ross’s extensive community service, the City of Ottawa has been asked to rename South Nepean Park at 600 Longfields Drive the “Ken Ross Park”.

Ken Ross was a leader of the Barrhaven Food Cupboard, a founding director of the South Nepean Autism Centre and a member of the board of directors of Oktoberfest Ottawa. He was also involved with the Lions Club, the Barrhaven Legion and the Rotary Club, and he contributed to numerous events in the community.
