The City of Ottawa has posted an online survey for the public to provide feedback about allowing retail stores to sell recreational marijuana in Ottawa.

The survey is open from Oct. 25 to Nov. 7 and can be done online or through a paper form, available at city service centres. The province has opened the door to municipalities “opting-out” of allowing any stores in their boundaries to sell recreational cannabis – the city has until Jan. 22, 2019 to decide how to proceed.

You can fill out the survey here.

“The results of these online and paper surveys will help inform city council in its consideration of whether to allow cannabis retail stores to operate in Ottawa,” a city news release says.
