in support of Clifford Bowey Public School.

 

Chef Justin, specializes in holistic cooking in Italian, French, Mediterranean and Tea Fusion. As a member of the kitchen brigade within the House of Commons on Parliament Hill he has designed the farm-to-table method to his thinking on holistic cuisine. He prepares his meals with seasonal, mostly local, natural, sustainable and organic ingredients.

Not only will he be cooking your meal, he will also be providing a cooking demonstration. The event is part of a new fundraising campaign coordinated by Clifford Bowey Public School Council.

 

School Principal, Laurie Kavanagh says, “ Clifford Bowey Public School accommodates 104 students with developmental disabilities.  The students range in age from 4 to 21 years.  The school provides a caring and supportive environment where students work to reach their full potential.”  All funds raised from the event will go in support of the school’s new senior yard play structure.

 

Tickets are $45 per person and can be purchased online at the event website www.boweyfoundation.org ​There is also a  Silent Auction portion of the event.  Anyone can participate, whether they are attending the event or not.  Details can be found at www.32auctions.com/chefnight Jenni from the Hot 89.9 morning show will be the emcee.  Special guests will include Mayor, Jim Watson.  Chef Night – Savour Autumn takes place on the premises of Clifford Bowey Public School.  The school cafeteria is equipped with a commercial kitchen, a serving counter, and a spacious seating area. During school hours, the cafeteria (affectionately known as the “Bowey Café”).  The Café serves to provide students with opportunities for work experience and life skill development.
