OnNovember 11at exactly11 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, sunlight shines through a single window in the War Museum’s Memorial Hall to illuminate the headstone ofCanada’sUnknown Soldier. For the fifth year in a row, this event will be webcast on the War Museum website, allowing Canadians to experience it from anywhere in the country.Anyone wishing to see the event should visit ** warmuseum.ca/remember ** starting at10:45 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. It will remain available online until noon onNovember 12. A limited number of tickets for access to Memorial Hall itself will be made available to visitors to the Museum starting at9:30 a.m.onNovember 11.In addition to the webcast, the Remember page also includes educational resources, including a video overview of the crucial contributions women made during the First and Second World Wars and how their lives changed as a result.
