Breaking sidewalk news: The city has finally re-opened the sidewalk in front of Magee House

The sidewalk in front of Magee House has been re-opened, more than a year since it was closed following a partial collapse of the heritage building.

The Hintonburg house, which traces its origins to 1874, lost part of its west facade in a collapse in July 2018. Since then, the sidewalk has been closed as a safety precaution.

In a tweet, Coun. Jeff Leiper thanked residents for their patience.
