Canadian Heritage, in collaboration with exclusive sponsor Manulife, wishes to inform the public that as of Saturday, August 1, 2015, Northern Lights will be presented half an hour earlier, at 9:30 p.m.

Northern Lights, an all-new experience of sound and light, is a thrilling thematic journey through Canada’s history. Combining bold digital technology with the architectural splendour of the Parliament Buildings, the show illuminates Canadian stories of nation building, partnership, discovery, valour, pride and vision at the heart of our country.

This free sound and light show on Parliament Hill is presented every evening, seven days a week (weather permitting), until September 12, 2015. As of September 1, showings will begin at 9 p.m. We recommend that spectators bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the view from the lawn.

Northern Lights is the sixth edition of the sound and light show on Parliament Hill and is scheduled to run for five consecutive summers (2015 to 2019).
