A list of free Thanksgiving meals in Ottawa

Here is a list of free Thanksgiving meals happening in Ottawa this weekend.

All meals first come, first serve. ** Sit Guy Carleton Secondary School (55 Centrepointe Dr.) ** – Sunday from noon to 2 p.m.

There will be a shuttle bus to and from the school at 11:30 a.m. at five locations:

  Giant Tiger at Dumaurier Avenue,
 
     * 
  Corner of Caldwell and Medford Streets,
 
     * 
  The Ottawa Mission on Waller Street,
 
     * 
  Booth Centre on George Street,
 
     * 
  YMCA on Argyle Avenue.

** Salvation Army (171 George St.) ** – Sunday

 * 
Noon to 5 p.m. for shelter residents

 * 
3 p.m. to 5 p.m. for the public

** Shepherds of Good Hope (233 Murray St.) ** – Sunday 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

 * 
Only serving adults 18 and over.

** Dinners Unlimited, Christ Church Cathedral (414 Sparks St.) ** – Monday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 * 
Dessert donations accepted at the cathedral any time after 9 a.m. on Monday.
