A fresh face(lift) for {segue} restaurant in the Glebe

After a smashing welcome to The Glebe this summer {segue}

at 749 Bank Street

is moving forward

and giving itself a face-lift. Ottawa restaurateur Ion Aimers, along with partners Chef Rich Wilson & Sommelier Lindsay Gordon took over the amazing central Glebe location

in June, and opened without a hiccup in

the old Fratelli's on Bank.

In October, Ottawa Magazine's Anne Desbrisay said: "

One of the best restaurants to open this year...

Get yourself to Segue before they close. (Then go again when they reopen)"

Renovations started on Monday October 27th and {segue} is planning to debut it's fresh new look, with a brand new name too, in

early 2015.

The tremendous success of this upcasual restaurant can be attributed to the welcoming Glebe

community, the amazing staff, but mostly the phenominal creativity and taste of Chef Rich and Sommelier Lindsay running the place.

Chef Rich Wilson leads the back of house with his uber-calm demeanor, and creates unique dishes like the Roast Duck and the Fried Chicken all accompanied by local

ingredients. Lindsay Gordon is a certified Sommelier and has extensive with fine wines...but her smile and warmth are also what also keep guests returning over & over again.

Foodservice entrepreneur Ion Aimers, lends his design & operational wisdom and experience from such

foodie hangouts such as WIlf & Ada's, The Works, ZaZaZa, and as partner in Fraser Cafe. This trio has combined their

expertise to create a seamless dining experience from kitchen to table.

Aimers, Gordon, and Wilson, encourage you to come and try out the fresh new {restaurant} with a brand new name when it

re-opens in 2015. Keep an eye on their Facebook Page, Twitter Feed, and the Front Window on Bank Street, for updates and photos in the months ahead. One guarantee we can all bank on, is that the place will be the life of The Glebe, and draw people from all areas, right into the heart of the city.
