You gotta watch this: Ottawa-produced music video "Haunted House"

You have to watch this video – written by Ottawa songwriting duo Brian Asselin and Eric Disero and shot at Saunders Farm.

I asked Brian for a bit more background about the video.  He says:

"Halloween has always been my favourite time of year and I have always wanted to write a tune about it. I started songwriting with my buddy Eric Disero about 4 years ago and when I brought him the idea, we both thought we would follow up the song with our first music video. After some brainstorming we decided to shoot the video at Saunders Farm and the rest is pretty much history. Eric and I have been putting up each song we write on [ youtube ](http://www.youtube.com/user/251jazzcat) and one of our videos has almost half a million views. We are hoping that this video will surpass it."

And if you don’t mind me dropping names, the singer is Ottawa’s own Dale Waterman, who I went to high school with at Merivale High School back in the 90’s.  Dale also performs with The Peptides .
