What makes you feel grateful? Snap a photo for the Gratitude Gallery

Update: The deadline has been extended to August 31.

What makes you appreciative in life? Whatever it’s big or small, the Foyer Gallery is looking for “gratitude attitude” for their new exhibit.

The Nepean-based group is putting together an exhibit of photos to the theme of “gratitude.” They want a wide range of perspectives from different people – no photography skills required. The subject of the photo can be anything.

Group member Jennifer Foster told OttawaStart.com the project is their way of showing their own gratitude for space given to them by the City.

“We at the Foyer Gallery are grateful for the gallery space that we have, and the artistic freedom that comes with having our own gallery space.”

“So, we thought that we would like to pay it forward and give the public a chance to show their work in our gallery, too.”

Photos can be submitted until July 31 (Extended to August 31), either on Twitter with #gratitudeFG or via email.

Photos must:

  • Be 1800 pixels on the longest side.
  • A maximum size of 5 MB.
  • Include an explanation.

All photos will be posted online and appear in a physical exhibit September 27.
