What are your favourite Ottawa blogs?

It’s about time that we update our list of Ottawa’s best blogs. The list that’s currently on our web site dates back to 2011. Since then, one of the bloggers moved to Peterborough, and a couple don’t publish anymore.

But more importantly, there are many more great blogs that have launched in the past two years that deserve a spot on the list. I have a few in mind but I’m sure there are lots out there that I haven’t heard about yet.

What are your favourite blogs in Ottawa? Tell me in the comments below.

There are so many! But I can say that I check this one :), Apt613, FoodiePrints, and The O-Dot religiously.

I always look forward to seeing the photos at "Ottawa seen 365 ways in 365 days." http://ottawaphotochallenge.blogspot.ca/

When Chris' challenge is up, I'm hoping he starts a new project. I'm sure he will.

  4. Mondays With Mac is hilarious, heartwarming and so very honest. It's worth a million visits. http://www.mondayswithmac.com/

Sheltered Girl Meets World (klwatts.typepad.com); Wine Out Loud (www.hollybruns.com); The Brown Knowser (rossbrownfoot.blogspot.com). I'll second the votes for Apt613 and FoodiePrints, too.

My favourite is Mike Levin's at http://www.unfolding.ca/index.php/category/blog
He's always thoughtful, knowledgeable and current.

  7. A favourite of mine is Realtor Steve Walsh's blog at http://stevewalsh.ca/blog/
He provides a great resource for home buyers and sellers that answers many common, and some complicated, questions. Very knowledgeable.

    Hey Glen
Someone named Molly left me this comment about your list. Another one to consider:

Modern Ottawa – http://modernottawa.blogspot.ca/

is a current fav. It brings a little style and vision to the city (I wish the author was on city council!)

I agree with the other Anonymous posting, Pub Patio Playdate is a cute blog and a great recourse for parents that have a toddler on the go. The author is hip, easy to relate to, isn't afraid to say what is on her mind. I enjoy the posts that are un-child related as well, especially the comments on local Ottawa charm. Find it at http://pubpatioplaydate.com/
